THE STORY BEHIND EBM350
Built From Real Life.
EBM350 is a South Side Chicago artist, entertainer, actor, entrepreneur and content creator whose story is built on persistence. Before the music, the views and the business moves, there were real obstacles — including periods of homelessness, setbacks and circumstances that could have easily stopped the journey. Instead, those experiences became part of the motivation behind EBM350.
Music has always been bigger than simply recording songs. For EBM350, it is a way to turn real experiences, ambition, humor, pain, loyalty and Chicago culture into something people can feel. That same personality eventually grew beyond music into original entertainment and the “Opp or Fan” concept — a recognizable part of the EBM350 identity that mixes music, comedy and street-level storytelling.
EBM350 has also stepped into the Chicago skit world, creating content with Future of Chicago, Naim Matthews, Shinbone, Reggie Baybee, Jimmy (Mr. Dassa Big Word), Mu Wop, Alonzo Bingham and more. Comedy and skits have expanded the audience and shown another side of EBM350’s personality — but the foundation remains the music.
BUT BACK TO THE MUSIC. Every skit, visual and viral moment brings more eyes back to the artist. EBM350’s long-term focus is building a music catalog, creating memorable records, collaborating across cities and turning real-life experiences into songs that can live beyond the moment.
The catalog includes releases such as Opp or a Fan, Steady Dropping, Body and ShangTsung, while the visual side of EBM350 continues to expand through music videos, skits and original content. Bear Down is part of what’s coming next. EBM350 also appears as an actor in Blindsided, filmed by Will Gates and Bo G Simmons. The film is now available on Tubi and Prime Video.
Collaboration has been another part of the journey. EBM350 has created music with artists from multiple cities, including Chicago artists Duke Da Beast, BCR Moneyyy, Dinero Gotti, Tucka and Woodey Da Ruga; Memphis rapper Glockianna; Chattanooga rapper 2 Face; St. Louis rapper Dolo Ray; and Georgia rapper Johnny.
Behind the camera, EBM350 visuals have been captured by Will Gates of Open World Films, Brandon & Mark of Milky, and Tamel of Straight Glass — helping turn the music into a growing visual catalog.
But EBM350 is about more than numbers or releases. The goal is to build something that lasts — music, entertainment, visuals, merchandise and a recognizable identity that can grow far beyond one song or one moment. Every stage of the journey is another chapter in that vision.
The name also carries loyalty and remembrance. Forever 40 remains part of the story, with the message “Long Live King 40” representing someone whose memory continues to live alongside the movement.
100% INDEPENDENT
NO MACHINE. NO MAJOR POWER BEHIND IT.
Everything behind EBM350 has been built independently and financed personally. Every song, every feature, every music video, every studio session and every creative move has been invested in without a major label, corporate machine or powerful industry team funding the journey.
What people see today was built from the ground up — one record, one collaboration and one visual at a time. EBM350 chose to keep investing in the music and the vision even when there was no outside power pushing it forward.
SELF-FUNDED. SELF-BUILT. STILL MOVING.
“I’m from the South Side of Chicago. Everything I’ve been through gave me something to talk about. Music gives me a way to put that story into the world.”
